A Disaster Preparedness Playbook for Obstetrics and Neonatal Units

New Disaster Preparedness Playbook for Obstetrics and Neonatal Units from WRAPEM & MIDPC

Suggested guidance for obstetric and neonatal units is now available.

The Disaster Preparedness Playbook for Obstetrics and Neonatal Units outlines disaster planning for perinatal patients in healthcare facilities.

This tool is designed for long-term disaster planning, not just-in-time use. It includes specific guidance for various phases of a disaster.

This playbook was co-authored by WRAPEM and the Maternal Infant Disaster Preparedness Coalition, with contributing partners: CDC, NPDC, Stanford, Northwest Neonatal Improvement Priority Alliance, and the Neonatal, Obstetric, and Emergency Management Subject Matter Experts.
