The recorded Nourishing Resilience sessions and the resources on this site are shared under the Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities Open Source Use Agreement, reproduced in full below. The one thing we cannot give away is other people’s intellectual property — read the note about the slides carefully before you reuse anything from the recordings.
Open Source Use Agreement
These recordings are shared under the Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities Open Source Use Agreement. SAFE Infant Feeding — the SAFE Team — is a project of Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities.
An important exception: the slides. This agreement covers the recordings. It does not cover all of the slides shown in them. Some slide content in this series was produced by the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute at UNC-Chapel Hill rather than by BFFC, and we cannot grant permission to use CGBI material. Requests for those slides go to CGBI directly.
These materials are shared for universal-access implementation: programs built from them are open to all families.
Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities (BFFC) is committed to advancing equitable, evidence-based breastfeeding support through policies, systems, and community education. To support this work, BFFC makes selected educational and outreach resources available for open, non-commercial use. By accessing or using BFFC’s printable and digital resources, you agree to the following terms:
Permitted Use
- These resources may be printed, shared, and distributed for non-commercial purposes only.
- Resources may be used by community organizations, health departments, healthcare providers, educators, and advocates to support breastfeeding education and normalization.
- Materials must be used in their original form, without modification, unless written permission is granted by BFFC.
- Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities must be clearly credited as the source on all printed or distributed materials.
Prohibited Use
- Resources may not be sold, licensed, or used for commercial purposes without the express written consent of BFFC.
- Materials may not be altered, rebranded, or incorporated into products or services that are sold or monetized without permission.
- Use of these resources in ways that conflict with evidence-based breastfeeding guidance or equity-centered practices is prohibited.
Intellectual Property and Liability
- Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities retains all rights, title, and interest in these materials.
- BFFC reserves the right to update, revise, or remove resources from circulation at any time.
- By using these resources, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Breastfeeding Family Friendly Communities from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use or distribution.
